On 20 of September, 2017, General Director of "BPK" Kaledina Diana made a speech, which touched on the actual topic for today: digital production and industry 4.0. "At the moment we see the advantages of this platform and its prospects. We also understand what difficulties Russian companies face when implementing such technologies. Solving emerging problems is our goal", – noted Diana.
The meeting of the Presidium of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of
St. Petersburg was held within the framework of the XXI International Forum "Russian Industrialist" and the X St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum. The meeting covered the issue of "the creation of a scientific and technical reserve in
St. Petersburg's economic development sectors based on innovations and the use of digital technologies".
Moreover, Vladimir Vasiliev, rector of the University of ITMO, president of the Council of Rectors of St. Petersburg and Alexei Borovkov, pro-rector of St. Petersburg State University Peter the Great spoke at the meeting too. Their reports were also devoted to the digitalization of the economy of St. Petersburg.
