At the invitation of the administration of St. Petersburg, employees of "BPK" attended a celebration event dedicated to the Day of St. Petersburg Industry. The participants of the event were congratulated by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko.
"BPK" is a modern research and production complex that unites industrial machine-building enterprises:
- St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region - production sites of the BOD-South
and BOD-North; - Ryazan region: Machine-tool plant "Sasta" and Sasovo Foundry.
The main activities: mass production, the creation of new models of metal working machines and the production of pilot batches, engineering, service.
Together with partners – enterprises of Rosatom state corporation, BPK produces metal-cutting machines under the trade name F.O.R.T. (Force Opportunities Russian Technologies – The Power of Opportunity Russian Technologies).
Also work is being done in the scientific and educational sphere. Together with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and MSTU STANKIN, methods of dual training are being developed, and specialized specialists are being trained.
