Machines of this type are widely used in the aerospace industry, the automotive industry and at the manufacture of molds and dies with complex geometries. The size of the machine's working area is 4000x2500 mm. With built-in compensation for thermal expansion, vibration control system and the loads on the angular head, machine allows for high precision machining.
Machine G-2540 is available in the following items:
- CNC system Siemens 840 DSL, which allows processing simultaneously on 5 axes.
- 5-axis head with a maximum of 15,000 revolutions/min. Due to the high time when you turn the axes B and C, the G series machines allow to achieve high performance.
- Moving of the slider is performed by means of two ball screws and two servo motors, position measurement is performed by using a linear encoder. This approach allows for maximum positioning accuracy and ensures high travel speed.
- The machine is equipped with coolant which provides effective cooling in the cutting area to increase tol life and reduce the risk of breakage.
- Main motor power is 25/30 kW, spindle taper HSK-A100.
- Tool magazine for 40 positions.
- Linear roller guideways in all axes and linear encoders on all axes.
